In the full-on, budget no object world your producer will deal with the record company (yeah, right!), help you to find the studios, mixers, MEs, programmers, equipment and musicians you need, as well as perhaps assist you with choosing/writing/arranging songs and fixing the banjo-players love-life. Back in the real world, you probably do most of that yourself, as well as 10,012 other things that you don't have time to do. Let's just take a moment to say "well done you!". Anyway - here's the cold-hard reality. Many projects start well and never complete because the one guy or gal who needs to be driving the project is too busy creating music to take care of all the minutae of creating and releasing recordings. I'll go further - many more projects that do complete compromise themselves because no one ever took the job to say - "you've got to be kidding" and even more critically "STOP - it's done!!!" What can I do for you? I really don't know - it depends on your project, your experience and your goals. Typically I can add the impartial assistance to get you delivering your project on time and on budget. Does it cost? Yup - of course it does. Have you budgeted for a producer? Probably not, but it probably costs less than you'd expect and most certainly less than many projects waste on wasted fees and rentals. How does it work? Again - depends on your your budget, needs and location - but in the 21srt century the world's pretty convincingly shrung by Skype and Hangouts and cloud storage. What do you need to do? Just hit the contact button above and let's see how we could work together. Oh, and if you're really doing it all yourself, take a look and see if the sample Dustbowl Audio Production Planner sheet could be of any use to you - it's just an example but feel free to grab a copy - just register here and I'll be delighted to drop you a copy for your own use.
